*Factory-made work : shirtThis product is a short-sleeved work shirt made from high-quality indigo selvedge chambray, produced in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, which is known for producing "yarn dyed" fabrics, where the yarn is dyed before weaving. Skilled craftsmen carefully sewed the shirt in a domestic factory. The chambray is woven on an old-fashioned shuttle loom using indigo-dyed yarn, resulting in a soft texture. By varying the indigo dye for each color, a faded appearance is achieved, but this is not achieved through any processing that causes color fading, thus maintaining the original texture and achieving an expression similar to the fabric's natural aging over time. The shirt features a selvage called "red selvedge" which is woven on the shuttle loom, on the front placket and both sides of the hem. After the fabric is sewn, it is finished with water washing and tumble drying, which creates a moderate wrinkle and a worn-in feel. Additionally, the shirt does not shrink even after repeated wearing and washing. The buttons are vintage-style cat-eye buttons, and the woven name is made using high-quality materials produced at a domestic factory.
